AARON’S TAKEAWAY IN Kilsheelan, Co. Tipperary, have been known to go a bit over the top sometimes.
Some of the ridiculous but also delicious looking things that have graced their menu over the years include battered chicken and sausage wraps, 5lb mega beef burgers and battered tricolour sausages.
They sold was was previously Ireland’s longest wrap.
The monstrous wrap contained 8 burgers, 6 chicken fillets, 6 sausages, chips, mince, cheese, taco sauce and then some lettuce and tomatoes to keep it healthy. They previously held challenges where if two people could manage to polish one of these off together, it’s free.
Now they’re at it again, and have extended their famous wrap by an extra foot.
It’s the height of a 13-year-old. It’s actually too big for their counter – no takeaway counter manufacturer ever could have anticipated the need to accommodate something like this.
It contains all of the usual stuff and a little bit more.
It weighs 10 kilos, is 5 inches wide and measures up at 5’4″ This is truly the hangover food we all deserve. A fan of Aaron’s takeaway travelled all the way from Waterford to ask for this huge wrap – knowing they’d kindly oblige – and they suspect that he’ll be eating it for a week.
