WITH THE SAD news of Alan Rickman’s death today, many have been posting experiences or anecdotes about meeting the man himself.
One of the most classically Irish, comes from Twitter user Laura Jean.
Rickman played Eamon De Valera in Michael Collins, which was shot in Dublin and directed by Neil Jordan.
Clearly, it contains many Irish extras… including a few who had it in for Rickman’s character.
