Aldi has introduced actual gin & tonic ice pops to Ireland just in time for summer

Hello there.

COMBINING ALCOHOL AND ice pops has been a DIY summer staple for so long now – even though it never works out as well as the pictures online would have you believe.

Luckily, the summer of 2017 will feature no such hardship.

Because Aldi has just launched these gin & tonic popsicles

Four to a pack – the ice pops come in with a 4.5% alcohol level, and cost €3.50 per box

Described on the Aldi website:

This G&T with a zingy lemon twist in the form of an ice pop will be sure to hit the spot on a warm summer day. A refreshingly cool way to start your party.

We’re sold.

They’re also launching a Prosecco and Peach flavour

This is a potential gamechanger.

DailyEdge.ie has reached out to Aldi for specific details as to when we’ll see them in Irish stores, but they’ve already popped up in the UK.

Gaze upon the glory

People are excited, naturally

Aldi hasn’t seen a reaction like this since those hot tubs they were selling a few weeks back

Let’s see how they measure up when we finally get our paws on them

This is a long time coming, so well played for finally delivering

We await further details with bated breath.
