Asos

A LOT of people are finding mysterious mints in their ASOS orders

Ok but why.

OVER THE LAST couple of days, ASOS customers have been excitedly opening their parcels expecting nothing more than a new outfit, only to find a weird surprise. A tube of Polos.

A lot of customers have tweeted ASOS to try to figure out whether this was intentional, or if one of the warehouse staff members lost some of their lunch.

In fairness, this one does look like it got there by accident.

Some people haven’t appreciated the gesture.

But people are mostly pretty amused by it:

It seems that ASOS have been sporadically adding mints to parcels a lot over the years, with people tweeting them about it in 2013. It hasn’t just been Polos either. They’ve been mixing it up with Tic Tacs:

And even a lone chewing gum.

You’ve got to wonder… Why mints?

Where are they getting all of these Polos from? It makes sense in that they’re dry and don’t really get affected by being exposed to high or low temperatures (except for in that one girls porch). But surely there are other things they could send out. Pringles? Nature Valley bars? At the moment, they only have one explanation as to why they’re doing it.

A noble cause.
