THIS SHOPPING SUBSTITUTION is simply baffling. Asda took it upon themselves to substitute baby wipes with, a bottle of Bell’s scotch.
Obviously.
A viewer sent the image in to ITV presenter Ian Axton, which shows a substitution of $6 baby wipes with the £18.50 bottle of alcohol.
Some may say, it’s apt.
When contacted by ITV News, Asda said the customer kept the beverage, but they will be providing more training on substituted items.
The customer was happy with this and even happier to keep the whisky.
It’s not the first baffling substitution to be made.
