PLENTY OF PEOPLE thought that Barack and Michelle Obama were relationship goals. Each of them were equally as classy and self-assured and were never shy about showing affection to each other.
No scandals in the White House, no list of allegations against Barack Obama, just a couple that could have nice banter and were always in support of each other.
American couple Cassi and Adam loved the ex-presidential pair so much that they wanted to recreate one of their famous photos with a photographer to celebrate their engagement.
When event organiser Covesa Gragg heard the idea, she loved it so much she offered to do a whole shoot with the couple and photographer Natasha Herbert in the style of some of Barack and Michelle’s most iconic and charming photographs.
They were pretty much perfectly replicated. Here are the results:

When our Bride and Groom said ‘Can we try and duplicate one of their famous shots for our engagement pics?’ I was like let’s do an entire shoot – we can do this and this and THIS!
The moments they recreated included the Essence cover photo in front of the window, an embrace before the National Newspaper Publishers Association reception in 2009 and a moment where they hugged before the 2015 World Expo in the Diplomatic Reception Room of the White House.
Such a cute idea, but there’s no word yet on whether or not Cassi and Adam plan to incorporate the presidential theme into their wedding.
