There was a deeply unfortunate mix up between a gorilla and a politician on the BBC

Lads.

AT AROUND 8AM this morning, BBC Breakfast started into a segment on Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon.

Unfortunately for everyone involved, the picture didn’t match the chosen topic. At all:

Not only was it a very awkward moment – the gorilla involved was Kumbuka, the dangerous gorilla that temporarily escaped from his enclosure in London Zoo last night
