Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have released their first joint statement since they announced their divorce. Brangelina announced their separation in September 2016, and have been battling for custody of their kids ever since.
Angelina wants physical custody, while Brad wants joint. It’s all been playing out in public so far, so the couple have decided to seal all court documents from their divorce.
In a statement obtained by CNN, they said:
The parties and their counsel have signed agreements to preserve the privacy rights of their children and family by keeping all court documents confidential.
And by engaging a private judge to make any necessary legal decisions and to facilitate the expeditious resolution of any remaining issues.
The parents are committed to act as a united front to effectuate recovery and reunification.
Essentially, you won’t be hearing much of the goss.
Ben Affleck was a bit miffed his brother Casey didn’t thank him in his Golden Globes speech on Sunday night. Casey won Best Actor for his role in Manchester by the Sea, but failed to thank his big bro.
Speaking on the Jimmy Kimmel show, Affleck said was a “little taken aback” by the omission.
To add insult to injury, Casey thanked Ben’s BFF Matt Damon.
Ouch.
