BUS DRIVER DARNELL Barton was driving a bus full of high school students in New York state when he passed a woman standing on the side of a bridge, looking down on a busy highway.
He stopped, intervened, and probably saved her life, staying with her until a counsellor took over.
He says he just ‘did what I was supposed to do at the time’.
