Makeup artists recreated one of Cara Delevingne's looks on an 8-year-old with cancer and it's adorable

It’s none other than her iconic Met Gala look.

AT THE MET Gala this year, Cara Delevingne was rocking a shaved head after filming for her role in Life In A Year, an upcoming movie she’s starring in with Jaden Smith about a girl who is dying from cancer.

Last month she took to Instagram to share a few words about the meaninglessness of beauty standards.

“Strip away the clothes, wipe off the makeup, cut off the hair. Remove all the material possessions. Who are we?”

Delevingne didn’t worry too much about wearing a wig to complete her look for the Met Gala.

Instead, she worked with what she had and painted her newly shaved head silver. She definitely stood out from the rest of the A-listers but more importantly, her look helped to boost the confidence of an 8-year-old girl named Brooklyn who recently lost her hair during her battle with a form of cancer that mainly affects children.

That’s because makeup artists Glam Squad Academy in Durham recreated Cara’s look on Brooklyn Hutchinson.

Have you ever seen such a glam 8-year-old? The Instagram account that it was originally posted on is run by Brooklyn’s best friend Holly who captioned the photograph “if you can’t have hair, have glitter and diamonds”.

Cara shared the photograph to her own Instagram account, calling Brooklyn her hero.

The post has now gotten over 815k likes and over a thousand comments about how cute Brooklyn looks.
