MEET PANDA.

Last year, Panda’s owner Liel Ainmar Assayang got pregnant and Panda started cuddling her baby bump every night.

Just chilling, you?

When Leila’s son Sean Ivory was finally born, she sent her husband home with their newborn son’s babygrow so their cats, including Panda, could get used to his smell.

Buzzfeed reports that for the first month or so, the cats just ignored the baby. Gradually, however, Panda grew to love the little guy just as much as he had loved the bump.

And now look at them.

Assayang said she shared the photos to illustrate how pets can be part of the family, too.

I want to show the people that pets are great companions for kids and they can learn so much from them. For some people they are just pets. But for the pets, people are their family and that’s how we should treat them — as family. And you don’t give up on your family.

No there’s something in YOUR eye.

See? Cats can be affectionate, too.
