Kendall Jenner revealed that the ‘deeply personal story’ that she has been building up to for days and it’s a paid campaign for an acne product
Kris Jenner took to Instagram over the weekend to tease fans that her daughter Kendall was about to reveal her “most raw story”.
Sharing a teaser clip online, Kris said:
“Seeing you share your most raw story in order to make a positive impact for so man people and help foster a positive dialogue is a testament to the incredible woman you’ve become.”
In the clip, Kendall sits ‘pared back’, speaks directly down the lens and says:
“I can help you and it’s OK. I experience it – I’m very normal.
“I understand you – I can connect with you. I’m gonna try and help.”
Teasing that the full video would be released last night, fans waited to watch the entire clip to hear the ‘brave and vulnerable’ story Kendall wanted to share.
The ‘story’ was actually a sponsorship campaign with a skincare brand.
Yep, Kendall’s much-hyped post was about her breakouts, how she had been publicly shamed for it online, and the products she used to clear her skin.
To be fair – that is a pretty horrible experience.
But was a video about the cleanser you used to get rid of your spots really worth days of hype and an emotionally-charged post from your ma using the hashtags #BeTheChange and #ShareYourStory?
Don’t think so.

Holly Carpenter says she and Dancing With The Stars partner Curtis Pritchard are just mates
Holly Carpenter took to the dance floor for the first time over the weekend alongside her fellow celebrities and stand-in partner, Trent Whiddon.
Trent fills in for Holly’s original partner Curtis Pritchard who had to pull out of the competition due to an injury he received in a nightclub attack after Christmas.
But they remain hopeful the 22-year-old will be back, especially Holly who is said to have built a strong bond with Curtis during rehearsals.
And while the ballroom franchise is always surrounded by romance rumours, Holly says she and Curtis are just friends.
“It’s pretty platonic,” she told Mail on Sunday.
“Everyone is saying, ‘Oh, you two, you’ve got great chemistry’ and slagging us.
“But no, we are just great friends.”
Right, guess it’s time for the tabloids to randomly select another couple and start romance rumour mill again.

The Spice Girls turned down £80 million US tour offer because they don’t want to fall out
We’ve all had those group holidays that lasted just a couple of days too long, leaving everyone a bit sick of each other and ready to go home.
Well, it looks like the Spice Girls even have those moments and it’s likely the reason they turned down a lucrative deal to tour the US.
The girl group are said to have been offered as much as £80 million for a summer tour in America this year but decided to say no due to past experience.
A music insider told The Sun:
“They know from experience how long stints together on the road can cause tensions.
“They all have families who they need to consider too, they aren’t single women who can drop everything and go.”
But the ladies are open to doing a few shows stateside potentially in July and August when their kids are on school holidays.
