FOR THE FIFTH year in a row, the Charity 12 Pubs of Ballinasloe, Galway will be out and about having the craic… while also raising a lot of money for some good causes.
As the Facebook event page reveals, there are nearly 500 people signed up and ready to go this Friday night. There will be raffle tickets, spot prizes and cash donations being made all night.
The local nightclub Rumours is the final destination, and they’re giving a cut of the door fee to charity as well
There was nearly €2000 raised last year Ballinasloe Social Services Pre-School – but this year’s charity has yet to be chosen ahead of the extravaganza.
And they’re wisely telling everyone to drink responsibly too:
Please also don’t try to be a hero, If you can only drink in 5 pubs do that, try to make it to the raffle pubs though.
If they can get anywhere near the €2000 figure like last year then a local charity is going to a lot better off.
