Chris O'Dowd wants you to help find his missing imaginary friend

He could be right beside you.

CHRIS O’DOWD HAS lost his imaginary friend, so naturally he’s taken to Gumtree to help retrieve them.

He and co-author Nick Murphy write:

We are coming to you in need of very serious help. Three days ago our imaginary friend disappeared. He was last seen in a bookshop where we were busy signing copies of our new book, Moone Boy The Blunder Years (available now to all fun-loving children and humans). When we turned around, he was GONE.

So much is their concern, they even made a video.

People are being asked to send in sightings using the hashtag #IFhelpline or to @MacmillanKidsUK.

The weirdest sighting is promised £100 in vouchers, but apparently he’s only lurking around the UK at the moment.

But how do they KNOW?

Here’s the adorable trailer for Chris O’Dowd’s Moone Boy book>
