ACTOR COLIN FARRELL appeared on Claire Byrne Live last night to discuss the issue of same-sex marriage. Farrell spoke about his brother Eamon, who married his partner in Canada back in 2009.
To think that they had to leave their own country to do that is sad and disappointing and just grossly unfair, I feel.
Farrell further stated that he didn’t understand the viewpoint of those opposed to same-sex marriage and couldn’t understand why it was viewed as a “threat”.
Farrell won praise for his appearance with many taking to Twitter to commend the actor for speaking out.
