CONOR MCGREGOR MADE UFC history at Madison Square Garden overnight.
The MMA star became the first UFC dual weight champion after he defeated Eddie Alvarez for the lightweight belt.
Even the ROCK congratulated him.
Rumours had been circulating for a while that his long term girlfriend Dee Devlin was expecting, and Conor took the post-fight press conference as the perfect opportunity to announce his big news.
He says he’s “crapping his jocks” at the prospect of becoming a dad, and got a little confused over whether his child was due in March or May (It’s May).
There’s a few bombshells I wanted to hit, I was like will I do it, will I don’t do it…well I’ve a few announcements, one announcement is I’m going to be a daddy early next year.
I don’t know what way to take it, it’s going to mess with my head to be bringing a child into this. I don’t even know, I don’t want no celebrity type shit. I hate all that, I don’t want my family to be like that.
He then revealed that he’ll be taking a little ‘bit of time’ when the baby is born.
So that’s kind of a little thing in the back of my head, so I’m going to just have this baby, take a little bit of time and see what way I feel after that and then that’s it, they’ve got to come talk to me now.
