LAST NIGHT, RTÉ’S Crimecall aired footage of what might just be the most Irish crime ever.
The programme aired CCTV footage of two bumbling lads robbing a beer keg from outside a pub in Kilkenny.
The heist starts innocently enough. The two men are just walking down the street minding their own business when they notice a beer keg.
After spotting the keg, they decide to inspect the appearance and weight.
After ascertaining that it is indeed a keg, one of the men takes it upon himself to steal the keg and attempts to carry it.
Please look at the stance he adopts while trying to carry it.
After a few seconds, he decides it’s too heavy and enlists his pal to help. Before you know it, they’re toddling off into the dark of the night with their acquisition.
The perfect crime, really.
