NEW YORK FASHION Week is upon us once again, with designers showcasing spring fashions for next year.
Runway makeup is always ‘out there’, but Spanish brand Desigual took it to the next level by sending models down the catwalk in real-life Snapchat filters.
All of the most famous filters were featured, including the butterfly crown:
The thoroughly under-appreciated deer and zebra filters:
The ubiquitous flower crown:
Best of all, though – this model who had to walk with the dog filter painted right on her snoot:
Beauty YouTubers have been mimicking Snapchat for quite some time, but this is the first occasion that high fashion has embraced the dog filter.
Whether the look translates to the real world remains to be seen.
