Police in the UK take a statement... from a dog

PC Peach, reporting for duty.

WHEN THE CROWN Prosecution Service in the UK insisted on a statement from a Mr PC Peach following an incident, they weren’t expecting one signed with a pawprint.

You see, PC Peach is a dog, but he did his best:

The Daily Mail reports that CPS didn’t realise that PC Peach was a dog, and when requests for a statement were repeatedly made, the dog’s handlers from West Midlands Police did their best.

According to the Huffington Post the matter is being investigated.

PC Peach has no comment.

Pup Idol

West Midlands Police held a Pup Idol final last week for their latest batch of puppies. Peach wasn’t in the running, but it’s fairly cute all the same…
