However, it’s likely that tonight’s show may actually divide the nation, instead of providing it yet another opportunity to unanimously dub the groom a fecking gobshi*te.
And that’s because tonight’s wedding is Harry Potter-themed.
While obviously not for everyone, die-hard HP fans may actually find themselves weak for the wedding Brendán has organised for his partner, Victor.
However, it wouldn’t be Don’t Tell the Bride if Victor felt the same, would it?

With Victor’s friends trying (and failing) to reassure him after seeing him in costume, he reveals that there may not be a wedding to go to if Brendán doesn’t cop onto himself.
I can’t go to the wedding wearing this because I don’t want my wedding to be a circus.
To be fair, it’s more of a magic show than a circus, but that’s beside the point.
I am extremely disappointed in Brendán and I don’t know, literally, what he is thinking. He is just thinking about him, he is not thinking about us. I am not going.
