Last year’s Dr Harty Cup finalists SNTN Doon got this year’s campaign back on track yesterday with a 0-15 to 0-12 win over Limerick rivals Castletroy CC in the Gaelic Grounds.
In a hard fought encounter where the sides were level at 0-8 apiece at the break, Doon hit the final three points of the match to pull clear. Freetaker Barry Murphy was their hero as he struck 0-10.
