A reminder of why you should never apply fake eyelashes without wearing your glasses

Watch our for the insects.

APPLYING FAKE EYELASHES is a dangerous game. Particularly if you aren’t wearing your glasses.

A few days ago, Twitter user Molly Robbins tweeted a photo she received from her mother who was in the middle of applying a new set of lashes without her trusty spectacles when she very nearly stuck a dead fly in her eye.

“Text from mum,” Robbins wrote. “Having trouble sticking lashes on without her glasses. Turns out she was trying to glue a dead fly to her eyelid. I’m out.”

In fairness, it’s a very understandable mistake.

At least she didn’t succeed, eh?
