People on Twitter are convinced that Trump has been bringing a Melania body double around with him

In 2017, could we honestly rule this out?

LAST NIGHT A video of Donald and Melania Trump was doing the rounds on Twitter. For once, it wasn’t because Donald Trump made a weird slip up or comment, but rather because people were speculating that the Melania in the video was an impostor.

Suspicion was initially sparked by Trump’s comment “My wife Melania, who happens to be right here…”, because that’s not really something a person would normally say when their wife was very evidently standing beside them.

Trump goes on to say that Melania “finds that subject to be of such vital importance and she’s very much involved in this – she’s on the committee and really wants to be involved in that.”

Meanwhile, Melania doesn’t open her mouth and just nods in agreement.

If the video won’t play, click here.

You can kind of see where the Melania-truthers are coming from.

It has been such a strange year that nobody could actually be certain that Melania doesn’t have a body double.

Business Insider believe that it could possibly be a Secret Service agent stepping in for Melania, but… Why?

All of this sure does draw attention away from the subject matter of the interview that featured Fake Melania. Which was Trump claiming that America have done a “great job” in Puerto Rico, following Hurricane Maria.

This is despite the fact that one million Puerto Ricans still remain without water, over a month after the hurricane hit.
