Post mortems due on two farmers killed in Donegal farm accident

The accident occurred just after 6pm last night at Killygordon, Co Donegal.

GARDAÍ ARE CARRYING out a technical examination this morning of the scene where two men died on a Donegal farm.

The men, both farmers, were working on a tractor when it is understood that one of the vehicle’s tyres exploded at around 6.15 pm yesterday evening.

The accident occurred at Crossroads, Killygordon in Co Donegal.

Gardaí said the incident is not being treated as suspicious.

A Health and Safety Authority inspector attended the scene this morning.

Post mortems are expected to be carried out later today.
