PICTURE THE SCENE: you’re on a disastrous date that’s going nowhere and you want out.

Or you could do what this woman did and so convincingly feign illness that the police are called to the scene.
Police responded to an Amherst site where a man and woman were hiking, and the woman became ill. Police determined the woman was just trying to get out of a date set up using the WeChat app and feigned illness instead of being more forthcoming about why she wanted to end the hike.
OH GOD.
Imagine the awkwardness of having to tell the police that, no, you’re not actually ill, you were just pretending ’cause you don’t fancy the lad you were on the date with.
Nightmare.
