HUGELY POPULAR DATING show Take Me Out was cruelly snatched from Irish viewers when UTV ceased to exist on our service providers.

But, thank 3e for saving the day. Irish viewers can watch it on the same day, but slightly later.

If you haven’t seen an episode yet, it involves some very brave men stepping out in front of dozens of women in order to win a date.

Irish lad Glenn McGowan appeared on the show last night, and he was well received, to say the least

Glenn works in a hotel in Dublin and was dressed like he just came off a shift.

They played him on to Pretty Woman after a brief Westlife interlude, which wasn’t a great start

I’m sure you’ll agree that his dance moves more than made up for it.

Oh ok, maybe not.

But hey, viewers loved him from the moment those elevator doors opened

No one immediately turned off their lights, and he was super chuffed

His video involved his family hotel that he manages

His mammy even gave him a reference!

My son Glenn would make an amazing boyfriend. He’s good looking, hard working, and very attentive.

Of course you’d say that mam!

His 92-year old granny also made an appearance, who Glenn says is his secret weapon to getting girls’ phone numbers

For his special talent, he took a t-shirt off while balancing a ball on his back, but didn’t quite make it

STILL.

He had LOADS of lights to turn out in the end, with only five girls out of 30 choosing to turn off their lights

With 25 girls to pick from, he picked Lucy to go on a date with him to the Isle of Fernandos

But they walked off to Galway Girl, the Ed Sheeran version. Of course.

Tune in next week to see how they get on on their date.
