People want a 'gorilla channel' from Netflix after a Twitter user made it up and claimed Trump watches it

This is day six of 2018, people.

NETFLIX IS ASKING its customers to stop calling its support hotline to ask if they have The Gorilla Channel.

Confused? Understandable.

Here’s the background on this: Twitter user @pixelated boat tweeted a parody excerpt of Michael Wolff’s new book on President Donald Trump, ‘Fire And Fury’.

It described how the president, on his first night in office, had complained that White House televisions did not carry “the gorilla channel” and that Trump spent hours a day watching gorilla programming his staff subsequently produced to satisfy his simian appetite.

This channel, however, doesn’t exist. Not that we know of, anyway.

That hasn’t stopped people wondering if maybe other streaming services have it though.

This guy just wants Netflix to be a little bit more definitive.

Now, people actually want a Gorilla Channel.

So this is 2018, huh?
