Harry Styles’ self-titled album dropped this morning, so he’s been doing the major radio and TV interviews across the water in the UK. The theory was floated earlier this week that one of the songs on the album – Two Ghosts – is all about Taylor Swift. And there was some damning lyrical evidence to back up the claim.
So, of course, someone was going to ask him about it. Step forward our brave hero Nick Grimshaw, who laid it out there on his Radio 1 breakfast show this morning:
While Harry was squirming his way through a non-answer, Nick was telling him he was actually trying to help:
“You’re going to be asked about this, I’m doing you a favour here. What is this song about? Don’t make me go to the lyrics”
“I think it’s pretty… self-explanatory…”
Then he started looking nervy when pushed:
“Help me Jeffrey…”
Then he got seriously vague:
“It’s about… sometimes things change and you can do all the same things and sometimes it’s just different”
Translation: every single word of Two Ghosts is about Taylor Swift but he’s never going to explicitly say it.
Case closed.
Serena Williams has been celebrating her bridal shower this week in Miami – and it sounds like it’s been unreal.
Private yachts, yoga beside a rooftop pools… standard stuff for any bridal shower in fairness.
Serena’s mam and three sisters were all there, as US Magazine describes:
They attended a yoga and meditation class by the resort’s rooftop pool before getting pampered with foot massages in a poolside cabana, the resort rep tells Us. After a relaxing morning, Serena and her friends spent the afternoon cruising around Miami on a private yacht and swimming in the ocean.
There was also a “custom-made piñata of the 23-time Grand Slam champ in a Nike tennis dress.”
Not bad.
Daniella Moyles has announced that she’s leaving her breakfast show on Dublin station Spin1038 – as she’s heading off travelling for a while.
Tomorrow will be her last show, as she wrote on Instagram last night:
