no sweet surprise

You probably won't be surprised which Irish politician took up the ice bucket challenge...

…And called out Denis O’Brien, Michael O’Leary and Mick Wallace.

HOW DO YOU know when online fads have peaked? It’s usually about the same time that politicians start getting in on the act.

That’s maybe what’s happening here, but in fairness to Cllr. Paul Gogarty his ice bucket challenge is actually pretty funny and he manages to to make a political point (about water charges) while he’s at it too.

Not only that, but the former Green Party TD has also nominated some heavy hitters to take up the challenge in the form of billionaire businessman Denis O’Brien, Ryanair’s Michael O’Leary and Wexford TD Mick Wallace.

We’re just guessing here, but we reckon those lads won’t be short of any help if they take up the challenge.
