In photos: Coiffured creations abound in RDS for prestigious awards

The OMC European Hairdressing Championships are in town for the first time ever, showcasing some incredible designs.

LASHINGS OF hairspray, mousse, gel, glitter, feathers and beads have gone into the fantastic creations styled by Irish and other European hairdressers competing at an international event in Dublin today.

For the first time, Dublin is hosting the OMC European Hairdressing Championships, and the competition is fierce.

According to the Irish Hairdressers Federation, which is hosting this year’s event, the Organisation Mondial Coiffure (OMC) is the world’s largest hairdressing and beauty organisation in the world, with over 60 member countries covering some 500,000 salons worldwide.
