Remember that viral Twitter defence of Joey and Rachel’s relationship on Friends? Basically, that it was Rachel and Joey that should have got together and Ross was the worst potential boyfriend she could have picked.
Yeah, Jennifer Aniston is not buying it. At all.
In an interview with Elle yesterday, she was asked specifically about the thread – “Any chance you secretly wish Joey and Rachel had made it?”
No! No, no. They tried! I think there was a moment when Joey and Rachel got together that maybe it could happened, but it didn’t.
She had seen the tweets when they were sent, but is a big fan of Ross and Rachel:
It was Ross and Rachel all the way. I really believe that if there’s an afterworld of Friends, they’re still thriving. Don’t you? I just don’t think Joey and Rachel could have made it. I think it was more physical than emotional with them. They were friends with benefits, and they left it at that.
Aniston has spoken – let that put an end to the theory that Joey and Rachel should have stayed together.
Tommy Bowe melted hearts around Ireland when he shared a family photo from an Ulster warm up match yesterday.
