Over the past few days, two stories have dominated the internet: Kimye’s takedown of Taylor Swift and Melania Trump’s copycat speech at the Republican National Convention. And yesterday, John Legend managed to combine the two in one glorious tweet.
Yesterday, Republican National Committee chairman Sean Spicer defended Melania Trump’s speech by arguing that the phrasing in her speech was so commonplace, that it was reminiscent of lyrics by Kid Rock, John Legend and Akon.
In response, John Legend decided to invoke the one and only Taylor Swift, and sent this tweet:

Meanwhile, Lady Gaga has confirmed that her and boyfriend Taylor Kinney are on a break. In an Instagram post last night, the singer described the actor as her soulmate and urged fans to root them on.
Taylor and I have always believed we are soulmates. Just like all couples we have ups and downs, and we have been taking a break. We are both ambitious artists, hoping to work through long-distance and complicated schedules to continue the simple love we have always shared. Please root us on. We’re just like everybody else and we really love each other.

Over the past few weeks, Taylor Swift has been photographed walking on lots and lots of beaches with new squeeze Tom Hiddleston. Not to be outdone, Calvin Harris has posted his very own beach photo.
Only this one is fierce moody.
Look at him. Totally in awe of the waves and not at all concerned about getting his white runners wet or dirty.
The photo comes two days after it was reported that Harris was dating R&B singer Tinashe.
