If Trainwreck was set in Dublin, according to Judd Apatow

DailyEdge.ie caught up with the director at the film’s Irish premiere in Dublin this evening.

DUBLIN HAS BEEN up in arms with the arrival of Judd Apatow and Amy Schumer, here to promote their new movie, Trainwreck.

Schumer and Apatow were spotted in Grogan’s pub earlier today, supping on pints of Guinness and serenading a newly-married couple.

But it hasn’t been all leisure – between chatting to Panti last night, discussing the merits of black pudding on Today FM this morning, then heading off to Google’s Dublin HQ for a Q&A, they’ve been at it non-stop.

And that was all before they arrived at the premiere at the Savoy Cinema in Dublin this evening to crowds of fans and press. Phew.

DailyEdge.ie was at the Savoy and got chatting to Judd – we asked him what would Trainwreck be like if it was set in Dublin:

It’s hard to be a trainwreck in Dublin. There’s an awful lot of drinking – and lewd behaviour, let’s be honest – to really define you as a trainwreck.

And also got a little peek into that Grogan’s sing song with Glen Hansard.

This couple came in, they’d just got married like five minutes before, and the guy says “Hey, will you a sing us a song for good luck?” And then someone magically handed [Glen] a guitar.

That sounds like an Irish sesh alright.
