Kate Winslet gave some excellent advice to her daughter. The actress is currently appearing on Bear Grylls’ adventure challenge, Running Wild with Bear Grylls and spoke openly about her body image growing up.
I was chubby, always had big feet, the wrong shoes, bad hair. When I grew up, I never heard positive reinforcement about body image from any female in my life. I only heard negatives.That’s very damaging because then you’re programmed as a young woman to immediately scrutinize yourself and how you look.
Winslet now says that she’s hopeful her daughter Mia, will grow up loving her body. She tells the 14-year-old to appreciate her figure in front of the mirror.
I stand in front of the mirror and say to Mia, ‘We are so lucky we have a shape. We’re so lucky we’re curvy. We’re so lucky that we’ve got good bums’. And she’ll say, ‘Mummy I know, thank God’. It’s paying off.

Big Brother star Brian Dowling is getting married today. The TV host is tying the knot just outside Dublin with his long term boyfriend Arthur Gourounlian.
The couple have been married legally earlier this year and have been going out three years.
