KFC has attempted its own version of the spice bag

In a box. With no spices.

IT WAS WITHOUT a doubt the dominant Irish takeaway of 2016.

And now KFC are trying their hand at the beloved spice bag.

Today, exclusively in Ireland, they released their new “Spice Box”

Which comprises of:

  • a Mini Fillet
  • Popcorn Chicken
  • 2 Hot Wings
  • 2 Crispy Onion Rings
  • Large fries

Curiously, given the traditional takeaway Spice Bag comes cooked in various peppers, chilis and onions… there is no sign of any in the new KFC version

We’re going to assume that the crispy onion rings and hot wings might try to replicate the inimitable taste. It’ll cost you €6 to try it out, and it comes with a good slab of curry sauce as well.

The spice bag has just gone properly mainstream.

Surely McDonald’s is next.
