Killer whale does uncanny impression of boat motor sound

According to a crew filming the whale, this was an attempt at communication.

THIS FOOTAGE SHOWS Luna, a wild male orca.

According to the makers of a 2011 documentary about his story, Luna lost his family at a young age and started attempting to communicate with humans.

Here, he approaches a motorboat and does an uncanny impression of its engine sound. The filmmakers believe this is an attempt to make contact.

Amazing.
