ELLEN DEGENERES DECIDED to do an Impractical Jokers style prank on Kris Jenner this week.
Jenner was provided with an earpiece and sent into a 99c store. When she entered, she had to say everything that Ellen Degeneres told her to say. It was surprisingly funny.
Kris had a little bit of trouble adjusting at first, and as a result began to speak to herself out loud in the middle of the shop.
Then she was sent to the checkout and told to introduce herself by saying “Hi! I’m Kris Jenner. I’m a big celebrity.” In fairness to her, Kris didn’t shy away from saying any of the ridiculous stuff Ellen was feeding to her. The sales assistant was beaming at the beginning of the transaction.
Of course, the whole thing began with Ellen making Jenner appear like an incredible cheapskate.
The cashier isn’t even phased by this. Anyone who has worked in retail is probably well aware of the fact that celebrities and outwardly affluent people are very often the scabbiest customers.
Jenner asks the price of a coconut. The cashier tells her it costs $1 and Jenner’s told to say “I thought it was 99 cents.” After this Ellen orders Jenner to ask a couple of other ridiculous questions.
The video is so much funnier if you try imagine what the cashier is thinking. She’s probably trying to remember every single word as carefully as possibly, so that she can go home and tell everyone she knows that Kris Jenner is an absolute freak.
Ellen goes on to portray Kris as someone with a serious alcohol problem, which probably explained a lot of her strange behaviour to the unknowing cashier. Jenner leans into her face and tells her “Mommy’s broke. But you know what? Too blessed to be stressed.”
It wasn’t long until the customers behind Jenner in the queue got fed up and moved to another checkout.
