Losers
James Cameron
James Cameron just won’t quit it. The Titanic and Avatar director has yet again slammed Wonder Woman with some unneeded sexist comments. Back in August he claimed she’s an “objectified icon”, and said “it’s a step backwards”. He recently claimed he stood by his previous comments (after director Patty Jenkins explained things to him) and added that he doesn’t think there’s anything groundbreaking in Wonder Woman, but he applauds Hollywood for letting a woman direct a major action franchise. Sigh.
It’s gotten to the point where Lynda Carter, who played Diana in the TV series in the 70s, had to step in.
She wrote:
To James Cameron -STOP dissing WW: You poor soul. Perhaps you do not understand the character. I most certainly do. Like all women–we are more than the sum of our parts. Your thuggish jabs at a brilliant director, Patty Jenkins, are ill advised. This movie was spot on. Gal Gadot was great. I know, Mr. Cameron–because I have embodied this character for more than 40 years. So–STOP IT.
Stop it, indeed.
Niall Horan
Unfortunately, Niall is a bit of a loser this week. It’s not entirely his fault, it’s Justin Biebers. The two lads were hanging out during the week when Justin decided to take the piss out of poor Niall by mimicing his album cover Flickr, on Instagram.
Not sound. Getting stung by the world’s biggest popstar. Not a good look, Niall.
Winners
Kris Jenner
Kris Jenner is a winner this week. She’s a winner most weeks. The woman is just so damn good at what she does. While there’s no way of knowing if she had a hand in the fact that two of her daughters are pregnant, and one is expecting via surrogate, all before their new series launches, you have to hand it to her. It’s all very good timing.

Who? you might ask. Don’t. Just listen to this and consider yourself converted.
Cardi B became the first female rapper with a number one solo track in 19 years. Killing it.
Dawn O’Porter
Dawn O’Porter and her husband Chris O’Dowd welcomed their second child Valentine O’Porter in July. Cute.
But it’s Dawn’s effort at getting into her pre-baby jeans this week that’s won admiration from many new mums.
