Half the country has been listening to the dulcet tones of comedian Iain Stirling all summer – aka the guy who does the voiceover on Love Island.
Well, there’s a romantic twist in the tale… and it doesn’t feature any of the contestants.
The Sun reported yesterday that Laura Whitmore and Stirling are going out and that they are “madly in love.”
Whaaaaat.
As per The Sun’s “exclusive” report:
Iain met Laura at an ITV party last year and the pair hit it off instantly.
They sparked up a great friendship hanging out with their mutual friends including Strictly’s Ore Oduba, who Laura met while dancing on the BBC show, and romance blossomed.
They wanted to keep their relationship out of the spotlight for as long as possible but friends have revealed the secret romance, saying “they’re the perfect match”.
And yes, they are official – as a source confirmed that they are boyfriend and girlfriend.
Yaaaaas.
In other Irish celeb relationship news today, Hozier has enjoyed a “string of dates with a mystery brunette.”
According to The Mirror, the pair were spotted on Wednesday night walking hand in hand on Stephen’s Green in Dublin’s city centre.
Why is this important? Well, it kills the theory that Hozier and Saoirse Ronan are together, forming some sort of Irish celeb uber power couple.
Shame.
A source/amateur body language analyst told The Mirror:
The pair looked smitten with each other as they held hands during a stroll through the city centre. Hozier had a massive smile on his face – he only had eyes for his mystery girl. They were very low-key and dressed down, even though he’s a massive music star Hozier went unrecognised – no one batted an eyelid. They looked like any other couple, it was very sweet. They looked very comfortable in each other’s company and were laughing and joking.

A US wig company has been selling “Nicki Minaj wigs” with a price tag of nearly $4000.
