IRISH PEOPLE WOULD most like to kiss the Health Minister, Leo Varadkar, according to a survey carried out by TV3.
The survey was undertaken to support the ‘#Kiss4Crumlin’ campaign. The fundraising campaign will primarily run as a social media crusade where people will take a video or picture of themselves kissing someone or something close to their heart and post it on social media.
To maximise awareness and reach people on a national scale, part of the campaign is to put forward at least three other people, encouraging them to “pucker up” and to donate to #Kiss4Crumlin by texting ‘KISS’ to 50300. Each text will automatically donate €2 to The Children’s Medical & Research Foundation (CMRF).
When asked which Irish politician the public would most like to kiss, the Health Minister Leo Varadkar was the runaway winner, taking 43% of the vote, double that of second-placed Mary Lou McDonald.
The Taoiseach Enda Kenny and former Taoiseach Bertie Ahern got just 4% each.
In terms of party leaders, in a one-on-one competition, Micheal Martin beats Enda Kenny by 76% to 24%, while Michael Fassbender is Ireland’s most kissable man and Rozanna Purcell is Ireland’s most kissable woman.
