Well, look no further than Long Dark Twenties.
Long Dark Twenties is comedy mini-series created by three writers/performers from Dublin – Kelly Shatter, Luke Benson and Kevin Handy. The trio wrote the series together, and successfully crowfunded
Lily (played by Shatter) and Ben (played by Benson) have been drifting along aimlessly. Now in their late twenties, they’re seeing their peers getting hitched, promoted, buying houses, and having babies, while they’re stuck working unfulfilling jobs to fund forgettable weekends. The series examines whether the pair will ever make it out of their seemingly unending long dark twenties (get it?)
Basically, they’re millenials who suck – just like us!

Most of the episodes are based on the real life experiences of Benson and Shatter, including a moment in season one where Lily tears apart her house alarm.
With each series consisting of five episodes, and each episode being less than 10 minutes long, so you’ll have plenty of time to get your eight hours, eat your vegetables and be mindful and the like.
The themes of work anxiety, Dublin traffic and period pain (truly, no stone left unturned) will be painfully relatable to anyone growing up in Ireland (because, let’s face it – how many of us can really relate to anyone on Gossip Girl and the likes? Piss off).
