Man jumps into Liffey to save pet rabbit

Eyewitnesses say that another man threw the pet into the river at O’Connell Bridge….

A MAN JUMPED from O’Connell Bridge into the Liffey yesterday after another man reportedly threw his pet rabbit into the river.

Watched by a large crowd the man retrieved the animal and stood beneath the bridge before being rescued in a dinghy. Gardaí and the fire service were called to the scene…
