IT’S BAD ENOUGH getting caught selling drugs to an undercover police agent, but getting caught trying to pawn off a crushed up pop tart corner as crack cocaine by an undercover police agent is arguably worse.
Cameron Mitchell was making deliveries when an undercover agent approached him about buying drugs. Mitchell then went into his truck, crushed up the corner of a pop tart and said it was crack, earning a tidy $20 in the process.
When police tested the substance, they found it was negative for any traces of cocaine and positive for 100% sugary goodness.
Michell, who said that he only did it because he needed the money, has been charged with creating and selling a counterfeit controlled substance.
Tough break.
