Phelps and his rival, Chad le Clos prepared in very different ways, with le Clos jumping around and Phelps sitting with his hood up, giving a decent death-stare.
Le Clos previously beat Phelps to take gold in the same event in the 2012 London Olympics, and he wasn’t about to let it happen again. No no, this time Hungary’s Tamás Kenderesi beat them both.
