MINDY KALING HAS finally spoken out about her much-anticipated pregnancy.
In July, E! News reported that the 38-year-old actress is pregnant and that it’s come as an “unexpected surprise”.
So far, she’s kept mum (sorry) for the most part. But in a preview clip for a new interview wiht Sunday Today, Kaling said she is “really excited” to meet her mini me.
It’s so unknown to me. I have a lot of control over a lot of aspects of my life, and this is one where I’m like ‘ok, it’s out of my hands’.
Kaling also joked about what she’s most looking forward to though.
It’s so easy to criticize parenting until you’re a parent. So one of the nice things about becoming a parent is that I’ll be able to openly criticize other parenting because I will have a child.”
No wonder everyone loves her.
It was previously speculated that Kaling is refusing to disclose the identity of the child’s father to anyone – even her closest friends.
“She is not telling anyone, not even close friends, who the father is,” a source told People Magazine.
Still hope for BJ Novak, so?
