A pub on Dublin's O'Connell Bridge put up a great sign after their Christmas party

“Be kind + quiet”

SPARE A THOUGHT for the poor unfortunates around the country this month who are having their Christmas parties in the middle of the week – and those who are in work the next day.

It’s standard practice for pubs, and the River Bar on O’Connell Bridge in Dublin had theirs last night – and you know it was a serious session.

Because bartender Karl had to put up this sign

He only has one request:

Be kind + quiet.

That’s exactly the kind of favour you need when you’re “in bits.”

Solidarity with anyone else manning the ship the day after the Christmas shindig – you’re the real spirit of Christmas.
