Newspaper brilliantly trolls Oscars for lack of diversity in yesterday's nominations

Applause.

YESTERDAY’S OSCAR NOMINATION announcement was met with outcry from observers who felt that the nominees weren’t as ethnically diverse as they should have been.

In fact, this is the “whitest Oscars” since 1998, with not a single person of colour nominated in the four major acting categories.

Taking all that into account, this is how the Oakland Tribune opted to report on the Oscar announcement.
