SHORTLY AFTER IT was confirmed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were expecting their first child, attention turned to a display of support Harry was intent on showing his wife of five months.
So, with Meghan unable to drink over the course of her pregnancy, Prince Harry has opted to turn his back on the booze until the arrival of their first child in spring of next year.
Naturally, the Prince has been lauded for his self-imposed booze ban, with countless headlines delighting in Harry’s ‘big sacrifice’.
Indeed, it was recently noted that while on their 16-day tour of Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga, Prince Harry toasted his pregnant wife with water at a black-tie reception hosted by the Fijian prime minister.
Yep, the fact he drank water made headlines. It’s no closing of a door, but whatever.
