The actress said she “sniggered” with the Duke of Cambridge when he presented her with her damehood at Buckingham Palace on Wednesday.
She said: “I love Prince William, I’ve known him since he was little, and we just sniggered at each other.
I said, ‘I can’t kiss you, can I?’ And he said, ‘No don’t’!
(Fair enough, given that Duchess Kate might have some objections, unless she’s a massive Nanny McPhee fan.)
“If you’re first up you have to be more formal on such an occasion, but he’s looking wonderful and doing so well, ” she continued.
He said, ‘This day isn’t about me, it’s about you’.”
“It’s really lovely because I’ve always loved the boys and I’ve always been a long-term correspondent with their dad, it’s a very lovely feeling,” she said. (Daily Mail)
There’s clearly no love lost between Laura Anderson and Paul Knops, despite meeting on an island named after love.
The pair, who met on Love Island, recently had to be separated at a recent event following a series of furious rows.
“Paul turned up with a friend, came in, saw her instantly and asked to be moved inside,” a source said.
“Laura was surrounded by friends in the main party in the terrace. Judging from what he’s said recently, it’s not too much of a surprise,” they added.
Following their split, things soon turned sour, with Paul saying that his former girlfriend wasn’t up to scratch – he was looking for ‘a wife’ and she clearly wasn’t it – hence their split.

She put any romance rumors to rest with a tweet that encapsulated her feelings about the situation in the form of a few rhetorical questions.
