Robbie Williams sang a Joe Dolan tune with last night's Late Late Show audience

There’s no show like a Joe show. Or a Robbie show, TBF.

THE LATE LATE Show has been very much a Joe Dolan show for the past two weeks.

Last Friday, Nathan Carter performed a ‘duet’ with the singer through the magic of archive footage, and this week, Robbie Williams paid him one hell of a tribute.

He walked out on to the set in typical flamboyant Robbie fashion – then lead the audience in a rousing chorus of Good Looking Woman:

He’s trying desperately to keep the audience in time but they’re just too excited, aren’t they? Sure it’s not every day you hear Robbie Williams sing Joe Dolan.

The people at home were very impressed, anyway:

But Robbie wasn’t just doing it to please the Irish crowd – he revealed that his father is a huge fan of the crooner, and the pair went on a mad night out together in the 70s.

Of course they did.

Williams has just scheduled a big Irish gig at the Aviva Stadium next summer – you can find out more info here.
